If you’re used to having your Ubuntu menu buttons to
the right, then this simple tutorial will show you how to restore
the buttons back to the original location – Top Right. If you’re
fine with the menu buttons on the top left corner, then this
tutorial is not for you.Getting started:
To get started, press Alt-F2 on your keyboard and type the commands below and click Run:
gconf-editor
Expand the following folders:
Apps --> metacity --> general
Right-click button_layout and select Edit Key
Change the order of the values to and click OK
menu:minimize,maximize,close
Click OK and the change should happen instantly.
